Das Knie hält!

Ehrlich gesagt, war das heut nicht ganz schmerzfrei, aber kein Vergleich zu Freitag! Erst auf den letzten 20 km hat’s angefangen. Nichtsdestotrotz war es saugeil, wieder im Sattel zu sitzen und zu fahren.
Rainer, du hattest recht… Ich hätte zu Hause mehr mit dem Rad fahren sollen. Jetzt kassiere ich die Quittung. Weiß auch schon, woran es liegt. Ich brauch eine neue Sattelstütze, eine mit einer leichten Krümmung. Die werde ich morgen gleich hier in Bratislava ordern. Mein Arsch muss weiter hinter! Ich wollte zwar im April eine kleine Transalp mit dem Rad fahren, aber die Zeit lief davon…
Über die Stadt kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, da ich grad angekommen bin. Übernachte heut und morgen in einem Hostel im Zentrum. Eins vorweg – hier spricht keiner mehr Deutsch und es ist kein Vergleich zu Wien.
Zum Glück hab ich so ein „iPhone“, freies Netzwerk und das App „Ping“ – schon bin ich fast daheim!
Hoffe, morgen ein Internetcafe zu finden und ein paar Fotos rein zu setzen. Das geht noch nicht so gut mit dem Gerät…

The knee is holding up!

Honestly, today wasn’t painfree but is was no comparison to Friday! It only started during the last 20 km. Nevertheless, it rocked to be in saddle again and to cycle.
Rainer, you were right…I should have cycled more at home. Now I have to pay the price. I already know the cause. I need a new seatpost, one with a small bending. I will order it right away here in Bratislava tomorrow. My butt needs to be seated more towards the back! In fact, I planned to cycle a small tour over the Alps, but time was running out…
I can’t say much about the city because I’ve just arrived. Today and tomorrow I will stay a hostel in the center. First off, no one speaks German here, and it’s no comparison to Vienna.
Luckily, I have an iPhone, free WiFi network and the “Ping” app – makes it almost feel like I’m home!
I hope to find an internet café tomorrow and to post a couple of pictures. It doesn’t work very well with that device…
