<\/a><\/p>\nIn den ersten zwei Tagen nach Canyon, Texas schoss ich 420 km und somit einen neuen Rekord! Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall, denn in den zwei darauf folgenden Tagen fuhr ich schon gegen einen Sturm. Eine Tornadowarnung und der anhaltende Sturm zwangen mich schon nach vier Tagen zur ersten Pause. Somit sa\u00df ich wie im K\u00e4fig und wartete ab. Die Langeweile trieb mich in einen emotionalen Wahnsinn. Solange ich neuen Reizen ausgesetzt bin, geht’s. Ich sp\u00fcre, dass mir die Isolation nicht mehr gut tut. Es ist wie das S\u00e4uern eines Muskels, wenn es zu viel wird… Ohne ins Detail zu gehen, ich war bisher noch nicht so nah am Abbruch… War ich vor der Reise auch schon so ein emotionaler Spasst…? Ich wei\u00df, sollte die Klappe halten, es gibt viele, die mit mir tauschen wollen w\u00fcrden. Schlie\u00dflich lebe ich einen Traum. Dazu sag ich eins, jeder tr\u00e4gt so sein P\u00e4ckchen und es gibt gute wie schlechte Tage. Arm nur, wenn man Eindr\u00fccke nicht wirklich teilen kann… Das ist definitiv das Schwierigste, die mentale St\u00e4rke, da kann der K\u00f6rper noch so stark sein. Wenn die Energie nicht flie\u00dft, bewegt sich nichts…<\/p>\n
G\u00e4be es Bubu nicht und w\u00fcrde sie nicht nach New York kommen, h\u00e4tte ich vermutlich das Handtuch geworfen. Somit war\/bin ich zum Gl\u00fcck gezwungen, dort anzukommen. Um mich vom Zeitdruck und dem Schei\u00df-Wetter zu befreien, beschloss ich in die Trickkiste zu greifen und abzuk\u00fcrzen. Was soll’s!? Auto mieten, Rad rein und in 14 Std. 1.000 km rei\u00dfen. Es ist schon lang keine Radumrundung mehr, denkt man an Kasachstan oder China, auch wenn es dort andere Gr\u00fcnde waren und es keine Alternativen gab. Doch, es h\u00e4tte schon welche gegeben, Zeit und Geld…<\/p>\n
Nun hab ich mehr als genug Zeit, um am 23. April Bubu vom Flughafen in New York abzuholen. Die Strecke hab ich ja beinah halbiert! Es gibt noch ein weiteres Ziel, das ich unbedingt anfahren m\u00f6chte. Die Geburtsst\u00e4tte meines Opas, Nanticoke, Pennsylvania!<\/p>\n
Sorry, dass ich euch mit so einem Mist langweile. Es tut mir gut, es los zu werden… Ein Irrer auf Selbsttherapie! Hoffe, euch beim n\u00e4chsten Beitrag was Interessanteres zu bieten.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s like a muscle getting sore when it\u2019s getting too much\u2026 Without going into details, but I have never been that close to giving up\u2026 Was I such an emotional retard already before the journey? I know I should shut up and that there are many who would like to swap with me. I\u2019m living a dream after all. Only that much about it: We all have our cross to bear, there are good and bad days. But it\u2019s just sad if you can\u2019t really share the impressions\u2026 The mental strength is definitely the hardest, regardless of the physical strength. If the energy doesn\u2019t flow, nothing moves\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\nIf Bubu wasn\u2019t there and if she didn\u2019t come to New York, I guess I would have thrown in the towel. As a consequence I was\/am forced to arrive there. To unchain myself from time pressure and the shitty weather, I decided to do a little magic and short cut the way. What the hey!? Renting a car, putting the bike into it and making 1,000 km in 14 hrs. It hasn\u2019t been a bike trip around the world for a long time anymore if you think of Kazakhstan or China, even if I had my reasons and there weren\u2019t any alternatives. Well, yes, there would have been alternatives: time and money\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\nNow I have more than enough time to pick up Bubu from the airport in New York on 23 April. I\u2019ve almost halved the distance! And there is another destination which I really want to cycle to. My granddad\u2019s place of birth: Nanticoke, Pennsylvania!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\nSorry to bother you with such crap.
