Es ist soweit!

Das Warten hat ein Ende. Am Montag um 2 Uhr Ortszeit geht’s über Shanghai nach LA! Nach beinah 3 Wochen Visums-Aktion in Kuala Lumpur geht’s endlich weiter!

Terra ist verpackt und startklar, wir können es kaum erwarten die ersten Meilen in den USA zu reisen! Mein Winterequipment aus Minga ist bereits auf dem Weg! Bubu sei Dank!!!

Hab mich gestern auf www.warmshowers.com angemeldet. Es ist so was wie Couchsurfing, nur eben für Radler. Prompt hatte ich heut die ersten Einladungen aus Kanada und USA erhalten. Ich dachte, man schreibt die Leute an, wenn man eine Unterkunft sucht… Eine saucoole Begrüßung der Community, die die Vorfreude deutlich steigert!!!

Nun verlasse ich in etwa 50 Std. Asien und muss schon sagen, dass es mich ein wenig verändert hat. Diese Vielfalt der Kulturen, Landschaften, Architektur, Religionen, kulinarischen Schmankerl’n und, und, und… Das Wesentliche, was ich mitnehme, ist die Erkenntnis, dass das Leben nur eine fließende Energie und jede Veränderung nur eine Transformation des Bewusstseins ist. Des Weiteren fand ich die Antwort, was uns stark beeinflusst: Unsere Grundstimmung ist stets vom Duhkha ergriffen. Diese und andere Erkenntnisse krempeln um und verändern das Bild des Seins.

Time has come!

Waiting has come to an end. On Monday at 2 am local time I move on to LA via Shanghai! After almost 3 weeks of visa action in Kuala Lumpur the journey finally continues!

Terra is packed and ready to go, we can hardly wait to cycle the first miles in the US! My winter equipment from Munich is already on its way! Thank you, Bubu!!!

Yesterday I registered on www.warmshower.com. It’s something like Couchsurfing but just for bikers. Promptly I received the first invitations from Canada and the US. I thought you contact people when you look for accommodation… A damn cool welcome by the community, which is already increasing my anticipation by far!!!

Now I leave Asia in approx. 50 hours, and I really have to say that it has changed me a little bit. The diversity of cultures, landscapes, architecture, religions, culinary delicacies, and, and, and… The essential that I take with me is the insight that life is only a flowing energy and every change is only a transformation of consciousness. Furthermore, I found the answer to the question what has great influence on us: Our prevailing mood continuously underlies the duhkha. This and other insights turn you inside out and change the conception of existence.
