Bazi – Action die Vierte…

Setzte mit der Fähre von Ko Lanta nach Hat Yau über. Von dort aus wollte ich rüber nach Pak Bara radl’n und dann mit dem Boot nach Ko Bulon Leh und Ko Lipe. Nun, rund um Hat Yau verzweigen sich unzählige Bäche, Flüsse und Kanäle. Laut meinen Recherchen hätte es da Brücken geben sollen, über die ich hätte fahren können. Nix da… Den ganzen Tag eierte ich rum und jede Straße endete am Wasser. Da war’s klar, der einzige Weg ist ein dicker Umweg über Trang. Am Ende landete ich wieder am Hafen, an dem ich ankam, 65 km in den Beinen und ja, ich habe mich zum ersten Mal dickst verfahren… Des Weiteren haben die Inseln, die ich sehen wollte, keinen Hafen. Man steigt dann um auf ein Holzbootal und das bringt dann einen an den Strand. Mit dem Radl ein ziemliches Unterfangen. Also ließ ich es leider und begab mich direkt nach Langkawi in Malaysia.

With the ferry I went from Ko Lanta to Hat Yau. From there I wanted to cycle to Pak Bara and then by boat to Ko Bulon Leh and Ko Lipe. But no… I went back and forth all day long, and every street ended in water. Then it was clear that the only way was a long detour via Trang. In the end, I was back at the port, where I had arrived earlier, after 65 km of cycling, and yes, for the first time I lost my way… Moreover, the islands I wanted to see don’t have a port. You then have to change to a little wooden boat which then brings you to the beach. What an act with the bike. Therefore, I left it to be and went directly to Langkawi in Malaysia.
