Russische Gastfreundschaft
Dima, Max und Sergej verabschiedeten mich wie einen Freund. Am Abend vor der Abreise waren wir russisch Essen und da durfte eine Flasche Wodka natürlich nicht fehlen… Ich hab die Jungs ins Herz geschlossen und danke ihnen für die tolle Zeit! Nun ging es mir am Tag darauf auch dementsprechend… Spät und schwergängig kam ich aus dem Bett und brauchte eine ganze Weile, um wieder in Tritt zu kommen…
Am selben Tag ca. 130 km weiter holte ich an einem Supermarkt meine Nachtverpflegung. Dabei fragte ich, ob der Fluss Kubain noch weit sei (dort wollte ich mein Zelt aufschlagen). Daraufhin lud mich der Besitzer (mal wieder ein Valeri) zu sich und seiner Frau Svietla nach Haus ein. Was soll ich sagen – duschen, essen, schlafen und ein Frühstück – einfach spitze! Als ob das nicht genug sei, gab es noch eine Dorfbesichtigung von ihrem Sohn Alexander am nächsten Morgen! Da es geregnet hat, war es wohl für ihn selbstverständlich, mich aus dem Gebiet zu fahren… Ich war und bin sprachlos!

Russian hospitality
Dima, Max and Sergej said good-bye to me like to a good friend. The evening before my departure, we went to a Russian restaurant where a bottle of Vodka didn’t have to be missing… I took the guys to my heart, and I thank them for the great time! On the next day, I felt accordingly…I got up late and sluggish, and needed some time to get going…
On the same day and approximately 130 km further I bought my supplies for the night in a supermarket. There I asked if it was far until the river Kubain (because I wanted to pitch my tent there). Thereupon the owner (again a Valeri) invited me home to him and his wife Svietla. What shall I say – shower, meal, sleep and a breakfast – just great! And as if this wasn’t enough, I was shown the village by their son Alexander the next morning! And because it was raining it was obviously natural to him to drive me out of this region… I was and I still am speechless!
PS: Here are the largest fields I’ve ever seen!
